Cart Quantity not changing on Paypal

Hi

nicepaypal:button type|amount|item name|item number|shipping|shipping2|tax|type;label;default value;field size|weight|option1|option2

I have followed the guide above to capture both Quantity and size with different price/size. I have 2 x examples below that work to a degree - I am having trouble with the Quantity field.

The first I consider most correct when comparing against the example above but the quantity field does not even show on the Joomla page.

The second has the Qty field displayed on the Joomla page, captures the variable input by the user but inserts it under options in Paypal (together with size) and not in the quantity field - so of course the price is not updated in Paypal

How do I correctly have the quantity field updated in Paypal?

Try this tag:

{nicepaypal:cart_noview||Mounted print|||||field;qt.;1;3|||dropprice;size;Select your print size (in inches);10 x 8:13.00;14 x 11:15.00}

The two examples that you posted had the dropprice in the worng position. You were correct in thinking that the first was more correct than the second. However, in you first example you are putting the dropprice in the option 1 field. The option 1 field does not support the dropprice feature. It only supports drop and field input types. Dropprice input types have to be in the option 2 position.

I won't bore you with the details of how it came to be this way, other than to say that PayPal only allows one dropprice type input per button.

What version of the plugin are you using? The quantity field is a new feature, your version of the plugin may not support it.

The buyer defined quantity feature was introduced in v2.68. You should be able to revisit your download page and download the latest version.
