How long till posts show up in Twitter?

I just bought it today and I have the same issue, it's not posting on twitter.
Please could you send me the cURL solution.

Hi,

If you are using the latest version of Nice Tweets, then you are using the cURL version. As of September 2010, Twitter requires that third party applications (such as Nice Tweets) communicate with the Twitter website using cURL.

cURL is part of the standard PHP distribution and most web hosts enable it by default when installing PHP on their web servers. Please check with your host's technical support team to ensure that cURL is enabled for your web hosting space.

Just downloaded and installed. Joomla version 1.5.22

I am not seeing my posts in twitter. Curl is enabled. I rechecked everything I set up again with the documentation. I tried doing an auto post or manual post. I am not specifying any category or section. I tried using the url shortener and not using it. I tried updating an article and creating a new article. Nothing is going to twitter.

In addition - am I supposed to see some kind of message if it is working?

The post to Twitter should be almost instantaneous.

Are you receiving any error messages?

Have you enabled the plugin?

Joomla Admin>>Extensions>>Plugin Manager>>System - Nice Tweets

Did you install the correct version of the extension?

There are four versions in the download package. One set of two (full install and upgrade install) for Joomla 1.5 and one set of two (full install and upgrade install) Joomla 1.6.

I installed the 1.5 version and it is enabled. I do not get any error messages.

I am going to uninstall and reinstall. I still need to know - should i be seeing any message about the tweet if it works?

i uninstalled and reinstalled the 1.5 full version. I rechecked my setup and to the best of my knowledge it is good. I looked in the log table to see if anything was there. It is empty.

I want this extension to work - so i need help. Where do we go from here?

My other alternative is to request a refund.

Twitter has very specific Security protocols that have to be followed in order to communicate with their site. Please review the documentation at the above link and ensure that you have entered the "Consumer Key" and the "Consumer Secret" correctly into the extensions settings.

Once you have verified this, let me know if you are still having difficulties. I am happy to work with you towards a satisfactory resolution.

i reviewed the setup of my twitter app, uninstalled the extension, reinstalled the extenision, reconfigured the component- still cannot tweet. I went to Twitters app authorization page and entered username and password. I noticed that i am not going to another page with the "allow nice tweets access?" Allow Deny buttons. I did get that page the first time i set up the app.

What do you recommend?
