Integration with Paypal EC & API

Hi,

I am looking at purchsing your bundle package as I have both digital goods and physical goods for sale on my website.

Would you kindly advise whether your PayPal Downloads Extension is compatable with the PayPal EC (Express Checkout) and PayPal API (Adaptive Payments Interface) systems rather than the PayPal WPS (Website Payments Standard)?

Would you also advise whether your PayPal Button is also compatable with the PayPal EC (Express Checkout) and PayPal API (Adaptive Payments Interface) systems rather than the PayPal WPS (Website Payments Standard)?

If they are, I assume that I would need to set up a Paypal Business Account and that your software above would configure either of the above PayPal's systems (EC or API) for me. Would you kindly confirm this before I set up my Paypal business Account.
ps I have never set up a PayPal account before and any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
pps my website CMS is Joomla 1.6.3

The Nice PayPal Downloads extension utilizes PayPal's Website Payments Standard and Instant Payment Notification (IPN) services. We believe these services to be the most flexible for the majority of our customers.

As for setting up a PayPal Business account, it is pretty simple. If you already have a personal account you can simply upgrade to a business account. Otherwise, you will set up a business account straight away. They will ask some questions about you. PayPal will also want you to associate a bank account with your PayPal account. This is convenient for you because then you can transfer all of the money you will be making through your PayPal account, straight to your bank account.

To sign up for a PayPal Business account, simply go here PayPal Business Account and get started.

Why is my Bank account still showing no balance after Paypal transfer? I recently withdraw money from paypal and transfer it to my bank account. On paypal it shows Status as Completed. But I dont see any blance In my Bnk account?

This is support forum for the Nice PayPal Downloads extension for the Joomla CMS. I am not familiar with all of PayPal's policies. However, it is my experience that it takes a few days for the money to move from PayPal to a bank account. During this time there is no record of the money in the bank account.

Your question would be best answered by PayPal Customer Support.
