why different Paypal checkout pages

I'm using the nicepaypalbutton on 2 sites. When you go to the checkout page, the two sites have different checkout pages. One clearly gives gives the option checking out w/o a Paypal account, with a big orange & blue box that says "check out," alongside an equally sized box that says "ckeck out with Paypal." The other, in a orange&blue box, says "check out with Paypal," while the option to check out using cc, no Paypal, is hidden in small print at the bottom of the page. How come different check outs with the same extension? Thanks.

That's a good question. The extension has no control over which interface is used. Over the last few months PayPal has been rolling out their new checkout interface. Usually with this kind of system wide change companies like PayPal will add the change to some of their servers and not others. This way they can watch for errors as they make they make the change. If there are any errors they can correct them, without the errors effecting the entire user population.

I actually thought PayPal was finished rolling out the new interface. But, I guess not.
