Authorize.net "Buy Now" button

I'm working on a Joomla site where the site owner has signed up for Authorize.net and purchased Nice Authorize.net button plugin for Joomla 1.5. I helped her install the plugin. I followed your instuctions on the documentation page and we put the {niceauthnet:43c2091a-ca0f-4e20-9eb0-99e5064f0e35} in the source code of the article has you said and it appeared on the page, just like {niceauthnet:43c2091a-ca0f-4e20-9eb0-99e5064f0e35} no button.

I also tried the code we got from the authorized.net on the item itself and then we got a button with a little bitty retangle to the left of the button with the itemid indentification in it. I saved it and then refreshed and it looked good. I tried the button and the item page came up as per the preview on the authorize.net page, but then after that the button didn't work anymore. I didn't have it on test.

So I'm wondering what am I doing wrong. Please help. God bless.

Here's the page where the code is posted (this is the code from authorized.net) not what you said to put there. As you can see the button is on the page but it's not working.

Hi,

Check the button tag for hidden HTML. Sometimes this can foul the tag replacement process. You can do this by switching your article editor to HTML view. The button tag should look exactly the same in both HTML and text view.

I got it to work by using the code we got from authorize.net and putting in a <div></div>

I have never been able to get tags {blahblah:blah} in that format to work. I tried something else that was in that format on another site and couldn't get it work either. It was a slideshow plugin, I think.

I may get brave and try your way again later, but for now I'm sticking with what I got. God bless.
