IMPORTANT: Twitter Security Change (OAuth)

Twitter has made changes to their security protocol as of August 31, 2010 (see announcement, http://dev.twitter.com/announcements). Older versions of the Nice Tweets extension (older than version 2.0) are not compliant with Twitter's new OAuth security protocol.

In order to stay compliant with these new changes we have upgraded the Nice Tweets extension (to version 2.0). Along with the security compliance changes, we have packed the new version with many robust features not available in older versions. Nice Tweets 2.0 is currently being distributed and can be obtained here, http://www.trinitronic.com/index.php/Do ... lugin.html

Please be advised, you will need to upgrade your installation of the Nice Tweets extension (to version 2.0) in order for it to work successfully with Twitter due to the OAuth security changes made on their end. If it has been less than 3 months since you first downloaded the extension, you can get the new version by revisiting your original download page.

To upgrade, simply uninstall the original plugin and install the new extension. The set up and configuration of the extension requires a few additional steps (required by Twitter).
