Add "Item Number" dynamically

Postby Guidonzolo » Tue Jul 03, 2012 12:49 am

Hello,
i'm using the Nice Paypall Button Plugin for recharging a phone card. The user select the phone service (VoIP, Pinless etc...), the recharge amount and then click the paypal button. I've to add the Item Number dynamically, because it is a unique PIN, associated to the user, that rapresent the card number that has to be recharged.
I've to put it dynamically because it change respect of the user logged in.
I hope that my english is not so bad.

Thanks for yoour support

Hi Guido,

The Nice PayPal Button is not designed to dynamically add content of any kind. You will need to make some programming changes to the plugins code.

When does the dynamic PIN need to be added? When the buyer returns to your site, from paying at PayPal?

Hi,
I need a dynamic PIN because every customer can have four PIN, one for each type of charge service so, when he logs in, i need to know for which service he make the charge. This value is dinamic because i don't know hich he will use.
Thanks for your support

Hi,

Is the dynamic PIN a number that the buyer enters into a form at the time of purchase? If so, perhaps you could use one of the Nice PayPal Button's option fields to collect the buyer's PIN. Have a look at the documentation link below, for more information.
